Animation

Contagious

For this project, I was to illustrate contagious. It might be a little harder to figure out, but it shows how everyone else is listening music and how it spread from one person to next and the last person is frustrated because he can't listen to music.

Alphabet

For this project, I was to create a poster like thing of the alphabet. I was to find letters in pretty much anything we could find. Most of my pictures were taken at my home.

Parade

For this project, I was to illustrate parade and generally at a parade you will find drummers.

I finally came up with this. It's not the best but it is okay. I took four different pictures as the background and changed some of the colors of the words.

This were some of the ideas I had. I took a bunch of baseball terms and players and put them all together. I never could find a good background.

Theater

For this project, I was to illustrate theater so I illustrated the remains of a coliseum. Theater was a big part of these coliseums where shows and plays were preformed.

Impossibility

For this project, I was to illustrate impossibility which was actually kind of hard. I eventually came up with it is impossible to rain gumdrops or bouncy balls or whatever you want to call these. The point is, the only thing that can fall from the sky, from a cloud is rain, snow, hail, freezing rain, and sleet. Nothing else.

Fleeting

For this project, I was to illustrate fleeting which means moving very quickly as if almost disappearing. Since a bullet wouldn't be school appropriate, a bullet train however is also very fast and school approved.

Initials

For this project, we were to use a picture and our initials and create a logo.

Rebus

For this project, I was to create a rebus which is basically using pictures and letters to spell out a word. If you can't figure out the word its Supererogatory.

Central Mission Statement

For this project, I was to illustrate the Central York's mission statement in a creative but still readable way.

Mission Statement Semi Finals

For this project, we had to create at least three semi-finals for the assignment. These are my three semi-finals and the this one is the one I choose to go on and modify to be my final.











This was my second choice. I thought it was pretty neat but some of the words were hard to read.

Talismam

For this project, I was to illustrate a Talisman which is a jewelry type thing, a charm.

Word Mark

For this project I was to illustrate a word that was unfamiliar to me, look it up, rewrite it using different fonts and sizes, and illustrate the definition in the illustration, My word was patagium which is the flap of skin between a flying squirrel or a lizard.

Poise

For this project, I was to Illustrate poise. Poise can men to hover in the air and a helicopter hovers in the air.

Subtract

For this project, I was to illustrate subtract and I went with subtraction as in math. Just simple subtraction problems written on a chalkboard in a classroom.

For this project I was o use the Google sign and create something out of it.

Legendary

For this project I was to illustrate Legendary. This actually was my second choice because my first plan didn't work out. I'm trying to express than anyone can become legendary.

Mr. CYHS

For this project, I was to create a design for a ticket for the event at my school, Mr. CYHS. The theme was super heroes and I decided to use Spiderman.

Intricate

For this project, I was to illustrate "intricate. Intricate means having many parts or confusing. As you can see, my illustration has many parts and may be confusing.

Breezy

For this project, I was to illustrate breezy. Beaches are usually breezy, so why not illustrate the beach as being breezy.

Instinct

For this project, I was to illustrate instinct. I couldn't think of many ideas for instinct and I knew there was a phone called instinct, so why not?

Celebrate

For this project I was to illustrate Celebrate. This one was a little harder to illustrate. My illustration is three people sitting on a hill watching fireworks. During the 4th of July we Celebrate with fireworks.

Type Scape

For this project, I was to illustrate a city scene/skyline/scape. Also for this project I was only allowed to use letters and numbers. I basically used blocks of letters and stacked them on top of each other to create buildings. I then added aspects such as the plane, clouds, monkey, billboard, greenery, and birds only using letters.

Time

For this project we were to illustrate time. I illustrated a time travel machine.

Type Face

For this project, we were to create a self portrait using only letters and words.

Music Illustration

For this project, we were to create a illustration of our favorite song/ group. I choose Let it Rock by Kevin Rudolf and Lil Wayne.

Flawed

For this project were to illustrate an example of something flawed. I drew a factory and in the factory is a conveyor belt and on the belt is some cans. On can however doesn't look like the rest and therefore, it is flawed.

Climbing

For this project, I was to illustrate climbing. I came up with ladders. Ladders are abstract and different. I used different colors and had the ladders turned in all directions and overlapped each other.

Elements

In this project, I was to "doodle" a drawing in out sketch book. In the sketch, I was to include the elements of art along with focusing on one principle of design. In my picture, I started by making random lines and shapes and eventually came up with sea creature like shapes. The creatures come in all shapes and sizes, I used different colors, have used and unused space, have dark and light areas, and have depth and volume. I was trying to focus on emphasis by using lighter colors to focus upon the smaller, closer creatures and darker colors to king of "blend in" the larger, further away creatures. I also used pattern by outlining the eyes, gills, and flippers in a darker color if the creature is colored a light color and vis-versa.
